Things you should know immediately about paying for your treatment at Premier Orthodontics are:
Paying for braces, Invisalign, or other orthodontic care is one of the greatest concerns for prospective patients. The cost of orthodontic care depends on the patient’s case, and the final cost of the treatment is calculated after determining what kind of treatment is necessary, how long treatment will take, and a variety of other factors.
Our philosophy is that every patient who can benefit from orthodontic care should be able to access that care. To make orthodontic treatment as accessible as possible, we offer interest-free financing to all patients. Here’s how it works:
We don’t check your credit history, and you don’t even need a credit history to get approved for financing. So if you have no credit, bad credit, or items in collection, we will never discover any of that because we don’t check your credit. You’re approved for financing the instant one of our doctors assesses your case and recommends an orthodontic treatment.
This simply means that we just spread the cost of your treatment over a period of time with no extra charges - therefore there is no interest, or 0% interest. In most cases when a person buys things on credit, they pay an interest fee. If you bought a watch for $500 on credit with 10% interest, you would actually be paying $550 in total ($500 for the item + $50 in interest). We don’t feel that you should need to pay more for your orthodontic care simply because you need to make payments on your treatment, and we don’t want interest fees or costs in general to be a reason for any patient not receiving the treatment they need. Other providers may offer financing to all patients, but they perform credit checks, and if you don’t have credit, have bad credit, or have less than excellent credit scores and credit history, they will offer very high interest rates, upwards of 30% in some cases. A 30% interest rate adds $1,500 to a $5,000 treatment. This makes it more difficult for patients to get the treatment they need, not easier.
