My name is Thanh Ng, and I am excited to be your orthodontist in the beautiful Ventura County. I am so blessed every day to be able to practice my passion for orthodontics with a supportive and talented team! To me, orthodontics is not just about creating beautiful smiles, but it is also about building lifelong relationships with my patients. I love hearing about my patients’ hobbies, vacations, their friends and family, and everything in between!
I was raised in Orange County in a large family of seven (Fun fact, I have a twin brother!). I received my bachelor’s degree at University of California, Irvine. I then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and continued my advanced education with a Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics. My alma mater holds a special place in my heart because this is where I met my amazingly supportive and kind husband, Derek.
I love treating patients of all ages. I believe in personalized treatment that is done comfortably and effectively, should it be Invisalign, traditional braces, or early Phase I treatment. At Premier Orthodontics, we utilize advanced 3D imaging and digital impression to make sure your treatment is comprehensive and custom to you. I truly believe that all smiles are unique and as an orthodontist, I am here to help enhance them.
I feel strongly about giving back to the community and living a compassionate and humble life. I have participated in numerous of local dental clinics, as well as international mission trips. Together, my husband and I have completed mission work in Haiti, Honduras, Peru, Thailand, and Vietnam. We love traveling to new countries to provide dental care to those in need and immersing ourselves in the different cultures.
I currently live in Santa Barbara with my husband, where we enjoy the beach, hiking, and eating delicious local food. Because my husband is from San Luis Obispo, which is not too far from our home now, we visit family often and spend a lot of our time at the nearby wineries. We love California so much and cannot imagine a better place to live!
